Create a visual BIP, step by step

Start a new BIP

1. Click BIP Builder in the left sidebar.

2. Click Create BIP (the one marked NEW). Your blank BIP opens right away.

Fill in each page

Your BIP has 10 pages, listed on the left. Click a page, make your changes, then click Save and Close.

1. Cover: add a Title (this becomes the BIP's name), a Subtitle, a cover image and your logo.

2. About the Learner: short answers about communication, favorite activities, support needs and what helps them calm down.

3. Behavior Overview: the Target Behavior, its Function (Attention, Escape, Access, Sensory), Baseline Data and Behavior Goals.

4. How This Visual BIP Is Organized (2 pages): a fixed explanation for your readers. Nothing to fill in.

5. Teach: What and How, Teach: Respond, Prevent: When and How and Reward and Respond: add strategies to each step. See Add and customize strategies in your BIP.

6. Resources and Courses: add handouts and trainings for the people using the plan.

Tip: Changes are saved when you click Save and Close. Pressing Esc closes the page without saving.
