# The Legacy BIP editor

How the classic one-page BIP editor works and how it differs from the new editor.

**Create BIP (LEGACY)** opens the classic editor: one page where you drag strategies into four boxes. Use it if you like a one-page overview. For a full plan with a cover, learner profile and resources, use **Create BIP (NEW)**.

### **Build a Legacy BIP**

1.  Click **BIP Builder**, then **Create BIP** marked **LEGACY**.
    
2.  Click **Title of BIP** and type a name.
    
3.  Fill in **When team should prioritize support**.
    
4.  Drag strategies from the left list into **Teach**, **Respond (Reinforcement)**, **Prevent** and **Respond (Behavior Management)**. Use the search box to find them.
    
5.  Click the pencil on a strategy to edit its text, or the X to remove it.
    
6.  Click **Behavior Overview** to add the target behavior, function, baseline and goals.
    

### **Present, share and download**

-   **Present** shows a clean view for meetings. Click **Back** to leave it.
    
-   **Share/Download** shares by email and shows who you invited. Click **Download BIP** to choose **PDF** or **JPEG**, **1 page** (records) or **2 page** (printing), and whether to include the behavior overview and strategies.
