# Images missing or text cut off when printing a PDF

Fix blank images, missing icons and cut-off text in downloaded resources.

### **Images or icons are blank**

This usually happens in the Mac **Preview** app or a browser PDF viewer. Open the file in the free [Adobe Acrobat Reader](https://get.adobe.com/reader/) instead. The images will show.

### **Text is cut off or tiny**

1.  Print from Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    
2.  Set the scale to **Actual size** or **100%**, not "Fit" or "Shrink".
    
3.  Check the paper size is **Letter** (US) or **A4**, matching your printer.
