# Share a BIP with your team

Send a BIP to parents, teachers and staff by email.

1.  Open your BIP.
    
2.  Click the **share** icon (paper plane) at the top right.
    
3.  Type one or more email addresses, separated by commas.
    
4.  Click **Share**.
    

Each person gets an email from no-reply@bipvisualized.com with a link. If they do not have an account yet, they create a free one. The BIP then shows in their **BIP Builder** under **Shared with You**.

> **Warning:** People you share a BIP with can make changes to it. Only share with people you trust to edit the plan. Prefer read-only? Download the PDF and send that instead.

> **Info:** Sharing needs a Pro or team plan. The person you share with does not need to pay.
